UNITED GOSPEL SINGERS AT 10

The United Gospel Singers will celebrate their 10th anniversary on Saturday, July 18 at 6 PM, at First Union Baptist Church, 111 Ouachita 200 in Chidester.

HOMECOMING

Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Locust Bayou will host a homecoming celebration on Sunday, August 2 at 2:30 PM. The guest church: Bearden's First Missionary Baptist. The pastor: Moderator Vena Thompson. Lunch will be served at 1. Everyone is invited to attend.

VBS AT WESTSIDE METHODIST

Westside Methodist Church, 2211 Maul Road in Camden, is excited to welcome children and families to this year's Vacation Bible School—"Winning with Jesus Every Day, Every Way!"—July 27-30, from 6 to 8:30 PM each evening. CONGRESS OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

The Ouachita District Congress of Christian Education will be held July 19-23. Sunday (July 19) will see a musical, which will kick off at 6 PM. Classes start at 5 PM nightly. The host church: Whitest Chapel Baptist Church at 1032 Cook SW in Camden. All are welcome to attend.

ST. JAMES A.M.E. ANNIVERSARY

The 158th Annual Church Anniversary of the St. James A.M.E. Church, 241 Center St. Camden, is Sunday July 26, at 3:00 p.m. The guest preacher for the event will be the Reverend Nicholas Nettles, pastor of the Greater Morning Star Baptist Church of Newport, Arkansas. The public is cordially invited to attend.
