USHER DAY

Mt. Gillard Missionary Baptist Church, 112 Ouachita 395 in Camden, where Rev. Anthony J. Thompson is pastor, will have its annual Usher Day on Sunday, May 17, beginning at 11 AM. The guest speaker: Rev. Lacy Miles of First Baptist Church in Magnolia. Lunch will be served an hour before the event.

CHURCH SCHOOL CONVENTION/SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP

The Camden / El Dorado District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church invites everyone to its Annual Church School Convention Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31. Saturday's events will be held at the Planting A Seed Facility in Camden, and will consist of entertainment, games, Bible trivia, bingo and food! On Sunday, at 3:00 p.m. at the St. James A.M.E. Church, 241 Center St. in Camden, there will be an explosive worship service led by the Young People of the West Arkansas Conference and the church's own Bishop Silvester S. Beaman. Don’t miss it!

Also on May 31, St. James A.M.E. will host its 5th Sunday fellowship worship service is 11:30 AM. The guest preacher: Sandra Arnold of Camden's True Word South Ministries. RESTORATION REVIVAL
