The Camden City Council meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

The Ouachita County Quorum Court meets the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm at the District Courtroom located at the Ouachita County Sheriff's Department.

BRUNCH, BUBBLES, & BAMS FOR A CAUSE

Saturday, October 3 will be all about three B's - brunch, bubbles, and bams, benefiting the Women's Crisis Center of South Arkansas. The event begins at 10 AM and ends at 1 PM, at St. John's Episcopal Church, 117 Harrison Avenue in Camden. The cost is $50 per person. Brunch and mimosas are included. Enjoy open-play mahjong, door prizes, a silent auction, and a raffle. Every dollar raised supports the WCCSA, helping women and families to safety, hope, and healing. Lafayette School Restoration Inc. will host a biennial gala fundraiser Saturday, August 22, starting at 5 PM, at the Word Family Church Fellowship Hall, 277 North St. SW in Camden. The cost is $50 for a single ticket or $400 for a table of 8.
